What a Busy Busy Month!

My 3 day crop has ended and my talk at my local county fair is over and I survived both.

I did manage to get a few cards, bookmarks and a couple of pages done. The polka dot page I did because I thought making a page to resemble my blog would be fun. I also did a couple of pages for some remodeling we have been doing and I didn't do a lot to the pages because I hear so many people saying "scrapping is to expensive" or "I am not artsy enough" so I wanted to show them something simpler and yet it looks fine. The cards and bookmarks are made from scraps, but I like them, hope you do to.

I was also asked to set up at out local fair, Menard County, and to give a 20 minute talk about scrapbooking. I was a little reluctant, but I managed and it really wasn't as bad as I thought. It was a perfect crowd to speak to because it was at the "Womens Pavillion" and most were older so getting the point across about memory preservation really hit home for some. If you ladies can set up at your local fair you should really try, I had a great time.

I also just finished up my third 3 day crop this weekend and I have one more to go(October). All of us ladies had a great time and we had a few new faces join us. I didn't get a lot done, but I still had fun. I highly recommend going away for long crops, its so relaxing and fun. I really enjoy the hotel and its staff when we visit, they are awesome!

Happy 4th of July!

I hope everyone had a great Holiday weekend! I took the week off from crafting to enjoy the week with family, I hope you all did the same.

I have also been busy planning a 3 day crop and recouping from my day crop. I hope you ladies are still making time for crafting over the summer. If you are looking for a place to crop this summer contact me for all the details for the July crop, I still have plenty of room.

Next week I am setting up at out local fair and am giving a talk about preserving memories and the importance of that. I am a little nervous, I am not good at talking in front of a lot of people, but I love what I do and am excited to share it! I will let you know how it goes.

Lovin' Animal Cookies!

I had the best time playing with the Animal Cookies Level 2 paperpack. This pack is great for both boys and girls and the last 3 cards I thought would make great Congratulations cards for new parents.
I would like to thank Chris Green fromm CTMH for her THANKS cards, I love the look and changed it up a little as not to "copy".
Enjoy!
